Patient Examination & Consultation:
Today’s new patient consultation/examination fee can range between $111.00-$190 (this fee applies regardless of whether further treatment is required or not). Some examinations require additional x-rays or imaging studies, these can range in price from $50.00-$320.00. If you have concerns regarding these costs please ask the technicians about costs prior to them taking any images on you. If you have dental insurance, we will happily send them a claim for today’s exam and/or x-rays; however any remaining balance will be your responsibility. If you do not have dental insurance the fees for your exam/x-rays will be collected at the end of your appointment.
Treatment Fee Collection:
Following your examination/consultation with the doctor, we will provide you with an itemized copy of the treatment the doctor has recommended for you along with an estimate of any insurance coverage you may have. Please understand that this is strictly an estimate, we can not guarantee exact coverage amounts from your insurance company. Your estimate will list an out-of-pocket amount not covered by your insurance, this amount will be due on the day of your treatment. If you do not have dental insurance, all fees will be collected at the time of service.
Forms of payment accepted include: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or CareCredit. Unfortunately we can no longer accept personal checks.
Medical Insurance:
Some procedures, primarily treatment of oral pathology, are covered under your major medical policy; however it is not possible for us to determine your coverage prior to the treatment being done. We are happy to send medical claims as a courtesy to you to get additional coverage, but we will collect fees based on what can be verified in coverage through your dental insurance. If you would like us to send a medical claim for your services, please provide us with a copy of your medical insurance card. Please understand that other than oral pathology typically our other services are not covered by medical insurance.
