Meet The Doctor
Dr. Kathleen Isdith, DDS
Dr. Isdith has been providing expert care at HPOMS since 1998. A native of New York, she fell in love with Seattle just four days after completing her residency and has called the Pacific Northwest home ever since.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science at New York University, followed by her dental degree and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at NYU College of Dentistry. After completing her residency in 1997, Dr. Isdith moved to Seattle for a fellowship at the University of Washington, where she focused on advanced implant surgery and innovative bone grafting procedures. Following her fellowship, she served as an assistant professor, teaching dental students and residents, while also participating in surgeries at Seattle WA Medical Center, Harborview, and Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Isdith combines her extensive training with years of experience to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care for every patient.
Areas of Expertise
Dr. Isdith specializes in surgical wisdom teeth removal, routine extractions, biopsies, orthodontic procedures, and dental implants. She utilizes advanced grafting techniques, including BMP, cadaver bone, autogenous bone, Bio-Oss fillers, PRP, and PRF, all designed to enhance the success and longevity of implants.
With a deep knowledge of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Isdith continually updates her skills through continuing education courses both locally and internationally. She is committed to giving patients choices in their care, whether it’s selecting general or local anesthesia or exploring the best treatment options for their comfort and needs.
Dr. Isdith believes that a kind heart, gentle touch, and compassionate care are central to a positive patient experience. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and empowered to make decisions that are right for them. Every patient encounter is an opportunity she values deeply, and she genuinely enjoys guiding each person through their journey to a healthier, confident smile.
Background
Dr. Isdith is fluent in Spanish and proud of her Colombian heritage. Outside of the office, she is an avid skier and hiker, having climbed many local peaks including Mt. Baker and Mt. Adams with her husband. She is also a devoted mother to two teenage boys and finds joy in her garden, where she nurtures flowers and vegetables in her free time. In addition, Dr. Isdith volunteers at the Swedish Community Health Services Clinic in Seattle, providing essential oral surgery care to patients in need.
Recognized for her excellence, Dr. Isdith has been listed among Seattle’s Top Dentists every year from 2011 through 2025. She values strong relationships with referring dentists and prioritizes clear communication to ensure seamless, coordinated care for every patient.

Social Responsibility
Dr. Isdith is passionate about giving back to her community. She volunteers at multiple local centers and provides oral surgical care at the Swedish Community Specialty Clinic, serving patients in need throughout King County. She finds it deeply rewarding to extend her skills beyond private practice to help those who otherwise may not have access to care.
In addition, Dr. Isdith is actively involved in her local church, teaching Sunday School and Youth Services. She recently led a youth group fundraiser that raised money to provide socks and shoes for the homeless, reflecting her commitment to nurturing compassion and service in the next generation.
