Brian T. Hart D.D.S is a Seattle native who attended University of Washington for his Bachelors degree and completed his dental degree at Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1987. Over the next 18 months he participated in an Oral Surgery fellowship in Hagen, Germany. From 1989-1993 he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. For the next 2 years he remained at Harbor-UCLA, joining the faculty as an attending surgeon while also associating in private practice in the Long Beach and Beverly Hills areas. Dr. Hart returned to the Seattle area in 1995, joining Puget Sound Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Seattle, where he also currently practices. In 1996, Dr. Hart became a member of the faculty as a clinical instructor in oral surgery at the University of Washington Dental School. In 1997 Dr. Hart established Harbour Pointe Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where he practices with Dr. Kathleen Isdith. Dr. Hart was co-founder of the Greater Seattle Multidisciplinary Study Club. Dr. Hart has published articles in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry Today and has lectured to several study clubs on the west coast. Seattle Magazine has listed Dr. Hart among Seattle's “Top Dentists.” Dr. Hart has been certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he is a diplomate. He is a member of the Seattle-King County Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kathleen Isdith is a native of New York. Her undergraduate training was completed at New York University at which time she received a Bachelor of Arts and Science. She then went on to her studies at New York University College of Dentistry and completed her residency at NYU in a four year training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 1997, following the completion of her oral surgery training, she moved to Seattle, Washington to start a fellowship at the University of Washington under the direction of Dr. Phillip Worthington. During this one year of fellowship she did extensive work in implant surgery, as well as grafting procedures. After the completion of her fellowship, she was asked to stay on at the University as an assistant professor. Her duties included teaching the undergraduate students as well as instructing residents in oral surgery. She also took part in surgeries at the Seattle VA Medical Center, Harborview, and Children's Hospital.
