Meet The Staff
Julie, Office Manager:
Julie began her career with us in 2000 as a surgical assistant. In 2003, Julie moved to the East Coast where she worked for a Periodontist as both a front office coordinator and a surgical assistant. She has been back with our team since 2006 as our office manager. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of the practice and fills in as a surgical assistant as well. When Julie is not working, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, camping and sports activities. Julie and her husband welcomed a baby boy, Easton, in June 2011!
Beth, Financial Coordinator:
Beth has worked for Harbour Pointe Oral Surgery since 2001. She was born and raised in Bothell, WA and attended Northshore schools. Beth started out as a surgical assistant and has since moved up to the front office as our Financial Coordinator. Her duties include a wide range of things including answering phones, scheduling appointments and obtaining insurance and treatment planning. Beth is thankful to have found such a caring and upbeat dental team to be a part of. When Beth isn’t working, she enjoys being with her husband and extended family. Her pride and joy is her yellow lab, Mr. GQ!
Erin, Scheduling Coordinator:
Erin has been the Scheduling Coordinator for Harbour Pointe Oral Surgery since 2004. She started in the dental field in 2000 where she was a customer service and claims processing representative for Washington Dental Service Insurance Company. She is excited to be a part of such a superior oral surgery team and brings much joy and laughter to her teammates and patients. When Erin is not working, she enjoys time with her family. Erin and her husband welcomed a son, Andrew in 2007, and daughter, Emmy, in 2009. Her hobbies include camping and going to concerts. Erin is looking forward to welcoming patients to the practice!
Sheila, Surgical Assistant:
Sheila resides in Arlington. She is happily married and blessed with three children. Sheila has been a part of the Harbour Pointe team since the first day the practice opened in 1997. She is AAOMS, ACLS, and CPR certified, and loves her job as a surgical assistant. She is also certified with the Association of Dental Implants. In her spare time, Sheila enjoys spending time with her children and attending their sports activities.
Vanessa, Surgical Assistant:
Vanessa has been with Harbour Pointe Oral Surgery since June 2003. She completed her Dental Assisting program through Sno-Isle Skills Center in 2002. She is AAOMS, ACLS and CPR certified, as well as certified in the Association of Dental Implants. In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys running, hiking, biking, and especially Cross Fit…anything active! She is charismatic and compassionate, and our patients love her tender heart.

Marlayna, Surgical Assistant:
Marlayna completed her dental assistant program at Everest College in November of 2010. Upon completion of her externship here at Harbour Pointe Oral Surgery, she was hired as one of our full time employees. Marlayna has learned so much from the knowledgeable and talented assistants she works with, and is eager to continue learning and growing every day. She has completed her ACLS and CPR certifications. In her spare time, Marlayna enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and doing everything she can to make their visit pleasant.
Chris, Surgical Assistant:
Chris joined the team in 2007. She lives in Everett with her husband Keith, but both are originally from Liverpool, England. Chris is AAOMS, ACLS and CPR Certified, and has also completed her certification with the Association of Dental Implants. She loves her job and is not looking to retire any time soon. In her spare time, Chris enjoys keeping fit, being in her garden and spending time with family and friends. She has a great sense of humor and helps make our patients feel as ease before, during and after treatment.
